AGREEMENT (kesetujuan)
- I agree (saya setuju)
- I am with you (saya sependapat dengan anda)
- I think so (saya kira begitu)

- That is what I was thinking (itulah yang saya pikirkan/pkirannya saya juga begitu)

B.
DISAGREEMENT (ketidak setujuan)
- I disagree (saya tidak setuju)
- I am not with you (saya tidak sependapat)
- I can agree with (saya tidak dapat menyetujui pendapat anda)
- I can’t be along with you (saya tidak sepaham)
- I wouldn’t say that (saya tidak bias mengatakan begitu)
- I don’t think so (saya kira bukan begitu)

(Situation Sheila and Majid are discussing the
meaning of beauty)
Majid : “ Hi,
Sheila ! many happy returns of the day.”
Seila :
“Why, thank you majid for remembering my birthday.”
Majid :” Well,
how many candles are you going to blow today?”
Seila : “Five
big ones.”
Majid : “ Unbelievable.
You look at least 10 years younger. Tell me, what is your secret?”
Seila : “ Actually,
nothing much. But Ii do belive that beauty is not skin deep.”
Majid :” That’s absolutely true. Beauty comes from inside and
the outside as well.”
Seila :” I think
we need to have a good personality besides taking care of our physical
well-being.”
Majid : “That’s for sure.”
Seila :”
that’s why I like to keep an open mind.”
Majid :” I
couldn’n agree with you more.”
Seila :” As
for personal grooming, I go to the spa, the hair salon and the beauty parlour
regularly. It’s monet well spent.”
Majid : “ From the way you look now, I totally agree.”
